| Johnny Bennett
is a 55 year-old passionate amateur wildlife photographer. He
became intensely interested in photographing birds and other wildlife back
in 1997 and has been at it ever since. Whenever he is not working, and
even sometimes while he is working, at a boy's ranch with 200
bird-friendly acres (his day job), as a singer (his night job), or as a
part time teacher (his extra job), Johnny can be found enthusiastically shooting frame after frame. Ever in pursuit of more bird, nature, and
wildlife photographs, Johnny and his trusty Canon EOS-3 and 400mm f/5.6
lens trek the farmlands, wetlands, mountains, foothills, seashores, and
deserts near his home in Chino California, USA.
Johnny grew up in Saguache, a small town nestled at the edge of the mountains in Colorado's San Luis Valley. He spent most of his life as a singer/songwriter, performing on stage for 3 decades & recording 5 albums. After years of loving & appreciating nature he wanted to record his observations and share them with the world. Johnny has photographed birds in California, New Mexico, Arizona & Colorado, bobcats in California, bighorn sheep in Colorado and deer in Colorado, Utah, & New Mexico. More interesting locations and subjects are soon to follow. His photographs capture the essence and beauty of life in its various forms on this planet. |
